Rotiform
Design-first accessibility for European car enthusiasts
History & Overview
Rotiform was founded in 2009 in Southern California by Brian Henderson and Jason Whipple, who started the company to make the wheels they wanted to see on their own cars. The first designs, the BLQ and MIA, launched that same year. The BLQ takes its name from the IATA airport code for Bologna, a reference to the city where Lamborghini builds its cars, and it became one of the most recognized designs in the catalog.
The brand built its early following in the European-influenced lowered car scene, becoming a consistent choice for Volkswagen, Audi, and BMW builds in the United States. The timing aligned with the rise of Instagram and online car culture, and Rotiform's design-forward aesthetic spread quickly through the communities where those platforms had the most reach. The BLQ, LAS-R, and RSE became familiar sights at static and fitment-focused events across the country.
Rotiform expanded from cast designs into flow formed and forged production, offering the same aesthetic across multiple construction tiers. The forged wheels are 100% designed and manufactured in the United States using 6061-T6 aluminum, while the cast lineup is TÜV certified on select models. The brand also developed a motorsport division, which led to a supply relationship with Ferrari's 296 GT3 racing program. Separately, a multi-year collaboration with Ken Block and Hoonigan produced signature wheel designs including the KB-1, built around Block's Gymkhana programs.
Today Rotiform offers over 115 designs across cast, flow formed, forged monoblock, and three-piece forged construction, with 13 configurations and more than 15 finish options. The catalog is broad enough to serve buyers from their first set of aftermarket wheels through fully custom forged builds for high-end European cars.
